This is perhaps one of the most meaningful interviews we've conducted. In December 2010, Liz's Mom passed away from Alzheimer's. Liz wishes I had known Jen and her team at Clear Guidance then. They are truly making unbelievable differences in supporting families and individuals living with dementia and Alzheimers. We honor them as we recognize National Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month. We dedicate this interview to Betty Hamilton and Sam, Liz's dad, who cared for Betty for the 12 years she lived with this complicated disease.

Her only choice is to stay at home and go hungry, sometimes without food for days. Instead of begging her parents for a trip to the mall, she asks them to go to school. She longs for an education, but her parents can’t afford it, so they have to tell her no. This is why, Jou Nouvo was founded.
